What We Do

Who We Are?

Artificial Intelligence and Technology-Enhanced Care Collaboration Centre (AiTECCC) is a visionary research cluster uniting academic experts, Indigenous leaders, health professionals, policymakers, and private sector innovators to reimagine healthcare through human-centred digital health (DH) and artificial intelligence (AI). Through our research we aim to tackle the urgent challenge of access to high-quality, timely care, especially in rural, remote, and Indigenous communities.

Why AiTECCC Matters

Advances in digital technologies and data sciences are rapidly transforming healthcare landscapes, outpacing the development of sound, human-centred health policies. The ethos of AiTECCC is to co-create DH and AI-enhanced solutions grounded in compassion, relationality, and equity to improve access to high-quality, timely care for all.

Our overarching aim is to enable policy transformation and accelerate the integration of DH and AI into equitable and culturally safe healthcare systems.

Our Cluster Objectives

  • 🩺Transform Health Policy– Enable policymakers to implement evidence-based, human-centred DH/AI solutions.
  • 🩺 Engage Communities– Support meaningful and reciprocal community involvement in DH/AI research and evaluation.
  • 🩺 Advance Learning Health Systems– Build capacity for compassion-driven care through interprofessional education and data-informed decision-making.
